CREATING WEB SITE ON LINUX SERVER

I - Add user, chmod to 0755 that user in /home
II - Creating Virtual Host in /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
III - Creating ZONE Record in /etc/named.conf
IV - Creating ZONE file /var/named
V - Restart services /etc/init.d/named restart,/etc/init.d/httpd restart

1008 cd /home

1009 ls -l

1010 rm -rf america/

1011 cd /etc/httpd/conf/

1012 pico httpd.conf //creating virtualhost in this file where we specify the document root and aliases etc.

1013 cd /root
1014 useradd super3m // now creating a user for website which will be used for ftp
1015 passwd super3m
1016 cd /home
1017 ls -l
1018 chmod -R 0755 super3m/ //given purmisstion to execute permission
1019 ls -l
1020 cd /etc/
1021 pico named.conf //creating a zone record for site super3m where we specify the file name
1022 cd /var/named
1023 ls -l
1024 vi filters
1025 mv filters super3m // creating a file in /var/named directory with name super3m which is file name given in the zone record in named.conf file
here we use already created file called filters.
1026 /etc/init.d/named restart
1027 /etc/init.d/httpd restart
1028 cd /root
1029 cd /var/www/html/
1030 ls -l
1031 cp index.htm ~super3m/htdocs/
1032 super3m.com
